Recent Rescues
Kind Planet has recently taken in several large groups of animals. The latest was a group of fifteen rabbits and twenty five birds from an Animals With Elders client. The birds in this rescue were all suffering upper respiratory illness and have spent a good deal of time at our veterinarians. They are now being cared for by a foster home in Creston. The rabbits have all entered our warren without a problem.

Twelve roosters were dumped in the night box at Animal Services and were picked up the next day by The Sanctuary.

We have also added six pigs who were in need of a new forever home when the rescue facility they resided at closed.
