Meet The Rabbits In Our FamilyRabbits at The Sanctuary live in warrens. Free to run outside during the day, they come in at night and when it is raining. Most Rabbits stay in until three in the afternoon, spending the morning and early afternoon inside. Above, Micheal and Shaun, (black 'bits), two brothers who were rescued off a golf course where they were born after their parents were dumped there, Sister Love, (white with brown spots), brought to a Shelter by a breeder tired of the work involved. Pan, (butterscotch lop), and Bach, two strays, are just waking up.
 Mr. Bumpkin
Also known as Bump, this 'Bit came to an Animal Shelter as a stray. He lives with 17 other Rabbits and a Guinea Pig. Suffering a malaclusion, he gets his teeth clipped once a month and his carrots grated.

Ms. PuffMs. Puff spent many years stuck in a hutch at a nursery school before her liberation. Though quite willing to stand her ground when other Rabbits infringe on her territory, she exhibits a plentitude of sweetness when a human offers to pet her behind her ears.

Bam Man & SpotBam and Spot are over weight. Fed the same as other 'Bits, their metabolism was designed by breeders to make much use of calories for agricultural purposes. This is dangerous. They risk heart disease, it is hard for them to clean themselves and they are prone to sores on the bottoms of their feet caused by the added weight.
Dawn and DaveDawn and Dave were rescued from a rescue that was closing because they had more Rabbits than their neighborhood zoning allowed. Here we see them in a typical Rabbit pose, mutual grooming. Of course, most Rabbits don't have Buddha looking on, at least not one we humans can see. Rabbits are very social beings as you can see.
