Hello To All Our Central Coast Neighbors!Kind Planet has been serving the global community since 1996. Our educational efforts have been celebrated by people from all over the world. In addition to Kind Planet and Kind Kids, we are proud be extremely active in two global campaigns to safeguard the health of all of the planets children through the RHD in the U.S. Coalition and CaliciWatch.Kind Planet originates from The Sanctuary, a home for abused and abandoned animals. The animals in our family come from three local shelters, San Luis Obispo's Animal Regulation Shelter, and the Santa Barbara County Animal Regulation Shelters in Santa Maria and Lompoc. You can also read about our latest rescue in A Life For Ralph, an article which also talks about companion animal issues on the Central Coast and the resources available for them. Our largest rescue in years took place in Atascadero in the summer of 2003, and can be read about in New News. We hope that through our local outreach we can prevent such situations in the future. With all that said, let us move on to our work here in San Luis Obispo. We hope you will join in our celebration of Life!
