I Am Percival
I am Percival. I live with my Mom, Penelope. She was named after Penelope Smith,
the famous Animal Communicator. We came here together. We use to live with an old human who
was to old to take care of us. Before we got here I got stuck in a swamp. And Mom had a baby
who died because the man didn't take care of us. We haven't even been here a year, but we know everybody already. We like the Sheep. We don't like the Donkeys but we stay with them anyway.
My Mom, who you can see here, doesn't like humans much. There's a human here taking pictures. That's why Mom's got her ears back. She's ready to spit! You better believe
it! For a while we were in the corrals because we are being trained not to get upset when the humans try to handle us. Good Luck! Especially with my Mom. We got these pictures took just before we got clipped. That's why they put the halters on us. Usually we don't have to wear
them. Especially since they might get caught on something. Living in the corrals for a while isn't bad. There are four of them plus a pasture.
I'm in a bit of trouble right now. I didn't get neutered until I came here. I was playing with Mom before we got here and I guess I got her pregnant. Whoops! I din't know that was what I was doing. The human just found out when she had us trimmed. She saw Mom's stomach and got suspicious. So they did an ultra sound and guess what they found? My brother! Or Son. It is a little confusing. Anyway, we have to stay in the corrals and then we are going to move into the barn until Mom has the Baby.
I think this is good cause the human was going to adopt us but now she won't break us up. And she doesn't think she'll get someone who wants three whole LLamas, so we get to stay.
We get food twice a day here, plus there's grass. We put some of the food on the ground and the Pigs eat it. But they don't get our carrots 'cause we eat those right a way. My Mom says we have to go. She's turned her back to the human to remind her that she's got more than one place from which she can send out warning smells and stuff. I really love her. She watches over me. I only have to put my ears back once in awhile. Bye for now. If you haven't met him, go see Elvis. He loves humans.
