Sadness Falls Over Companion Animals - Seasonal Issue Or Something Sinister? |

THE SANCTUARY (KKN) By Sequoia Dog Where did all the humans go? Companion Animals across the country are asking this question as human Children disappear every day for several hours. "I remember this happening around the same time last year," said Minsky, a Dog from Ohio. "The Boy began disappearing for an entire day." "I thought the problem was over when a few months ago my human quit disappearing," said Poo Poo Rabbit of Washington. "Now I have to wait all day for my carrot!" Louise Rat claims not to have noticed. "I sleep during the day, you know, so if my human is gone from our home, that's news to me," she said. When she heard the comments from other Animals, Petunia Cat offered some advice. "Take a nap. Chill. Humans can't live without us. They'll allways come back." Her advice didn't help Ralphy, a Dog from Arizona. "I'm not tired. I want to play. Where'd the Kid go anyway?" barked out the young Dog. |

Ronnie Iquana, of The Sanctuary, one of the organizers of this discussion over the Animal Airwaves, began explaining to the Animals the facts. "Human Kids go to a place called School. They have to go there every day for most of the year to get Educated. There would be a big problem if they didn't go," he said. "That's where they learn to read their books and papers that tell them how to take care of us." Some relief swept through the Animal Community with this info. "Couldn't they give us our Carrot before they go?" asked Honey Bunny of Florida. "When do we get to make up all the playing time?" asked Shep Dog of Idaho. Organizers from The Sanctuary, Ronnie Iquana and Ho Chi Cat promised to look into the matter and see if something could be done to fix the concerns. There has been no word yet as to what steps are being taken. |
