How Much Water Do You Use A Day? If you flush the toilet times a day, you use gallons of water a day just to flush the toilet. We use 3 gallons of Water each time we flush the toilet. If you put a one gallon bottle of water in the tank, you can save a gallon of water each time you flush the toilet! If you flush the toilet three times a day and have a one gallon bottle of water in the tank, will you be saving 6  or  3 gallons of Water? . And saving water is not our only job.
